A foremost governorship candidate in Abia State under the platform of Action Peoples Party (APP) Hon. Mascot Uzor Kalu, today 19th June 2022 join other distinguished Abians in the celebration of 25 years (Silver Jubilee) of the Mater Dei Cathedral Umuahia.
The celebration which was presided over by His Grace: Most Rev. Lucius I. Ugorji (Apostolic Administrator Umuahia Diocese) also had other highlight events; the Formal opening of Mater Dei Bakery, the Launching of the book entitled: MATER DEI CATHEDRAL PARISH (From Cradle to Maturity) and Award presentation.
Hon. Mascot in his book lunch speech described the book: MATER DEI CATHEDRAL PARISH (from Cradle to Maturity) as a Practical story of his life 15 years ago when he came back from abroad to Abia State as the then Chief of Staff which he voluntarily resigned after 3 years in office (cradle stage) and now fifteen years after he’s aspiring to govern Abia State (Maturity stage).
He also delivered His Excellency, Sen. Orji Uzor Kalu’s acceptance speech as he receives Orji Kalu’s award as the Friend of Mater Dei Cathedral, Umuahia.
